Hemingway

One of the rules of the writer's work, derived Hemingway, reads: “Work in strict seclusion". This rule writer followed perfectly (to break the solitude allowed except cats). Noisy, cheerful and lover of women, hunting, Roma and life in all its manifestations, for the work he preferred a quiet room with the necessary furniture table and chair. At the beginning of his writing the way Hemingway specially rented a room where he could work in solitude. When the writer lived 20 years in Paris with his first wife Hadley and baby Bambi, he spent the remains of his small salary on rent cold and empty room, where stood a table and a chair. Then he worked a few hours a day. Over time, Hemingway was more money, fame and women, but work in solitude remained strict and invariable rule. Spacious and quiet office was in his house in the town of Key West in Florida, where he lived with his second wife Pauline. It was at this time he gained fame of a great writer. However, as can be seen, the solitude here was not too strict, because the hem on his yacht fled to Cuba, leaving his wife with two sons. In Cuba he settled in the hotel Ambros, Mundos, where he worked on his next novel. House in Key West became the home of the writer in 1931, now a Museum. Elegant Cabinet in the house in Key West. Finally moved to Cuba, Hemingway soon settled on Villa Finca Vigia (Finca Vijia) in the suburbs of Havana, in the village of San Francisco de Paula. This house in 1940 chose his third wife, the famous American journalist Martha gellhorn, which was tired of wandering the hotels. After parting with Martha, he lived here and with the fourth, the last wife, a reporter for the Chicago daily news Mary Welch. As you know, Hemingway loved cats and fishing. In the picture on the left – in the background caught Marlin with his wife Pauline and sons. Right – holiday surrounded by cats. Here at Finca Vigia, Ernest was able to indulge another of his passions – fishing, the love of which was shared by Mary. In the nearby fishing village Cojimar was his motor yacht \" Pilar", on which he spent whole days in the open sea. The writer was friends with local fishermen, and one of them even became the prototype of the old man from the story "the old Man and the sea". The abundance of white in combination with dark wood leave a sense of grandeur and noble simplicity. And Mary, meanwhile, dreamed of perfectly embody the principle of the husband. And in 1947, taking advantage of his departure, she prepared to Ernest chic surprise - a real "ivory tower", white three-storey tower with two cozy rooms. By the way, the image of the "tower" is crucial for this pair of London restaurant where he met the hem and Mary, was called the \"White tower\". The first floor was reserved for his favorite cats, and the second and third were rooms which had a beautiful view of the sea and  to Havana. The binding chair-recliner (almost the same as in the house in Key West). Another sine qua non – an abundance of light from high Windows. But Hemingway never last here – such exact compliance with its own commandments it was already a daunting task for an aging writer. Here, he felt cut off from life. Soon Ernest moved back into the house - in Cabinet in the living room, where he was closer to her home life. In addition, next, in the next room, had a drink and a comfortable chair, so he could relax and chat with the peeping guest. I must say that the tower and managed to render my service: here  Hemingway wrote the famous novel "the old Man and the sea" and "Beyond the river, in the shade of the trees".After the revolution, Hemingway left Cuba a year later, in 1960, he moved back to the United States. After another year, to July 2, 1961, the writer shot himself. After his death, Mary gave the house to the authorities of the country, and there was arranged a Hemingway Museum.
